Owner/Dog Handler

Tony was practically born into the dog world over 60 years ago in Western Pennsylvania; his life was all about animals and wilderness. His family had 3 dogs and his parents were breeders of Pekingese dogs. 

He's been a certified 'Dog Person' since then!

He is certified in Canine Behaviour and prides himself in caring for your dog as well as caring about you as the owner. Afterall, at Bark Park Central we are all about happy dogs and happy dog owners.

Owner/Dog Handler

Tania has had dogs all her life, growing up with Long and Short Haired Collies, owning Samoyeds at the start of her relationship with Tony, to eventually taking in their 4 rescue dogs; Alfie (the Official Mascot of BPC), Maisy, Storm & Phoebe.

Tania has a particular fondness for Storm, a Kokoni cross from Greece. She and Tony found homes for numerous Greek rescue dogs through an affiliated programme at our previous location in Wythenshawe - some of which still regularly attend daycare!

Tania is a firm believer of "happy dog, happy owner" and strives to achieve this motto in her business as well as with her own dogs.

Daycare Manager 

Jen has been the manager here at BPC since 2017 and has an FdSc in Zoo Animal Management, BTec National Diploma in Animal Care and is qualified in Canine First Aid & CPR.

Jen has over 15 years experience working with animals and 9 of those being with dogs in multiple formats.

Jen is Dog Mama to Ash, 9 year old Newfoundland, Lolly, 7 year old Labrador and Ralfy, 13 year old Patterdale cross.

In her spare time Jen can usually be found in a wetsuit! Ash are Lolly are working dogs and regularly train in water rescue, Ash is even trained to pull a cart! She loves any and all adventures with her dogs including camping, hiking and regular trips to the seaside.

Supervisor

Tamzin has been a dog handler with us at BPC since September 2024 and took on the role as Supervisor in October 2025.

Tamzin has a Level 3 Animal Management Qualification and is also qualified in Canine First Aid & CPR. With over 4 years  experience working with dogs in a daycare environment Tamzin always has so many amazing enrichment ideas and has taken over our social with fun videos and photos.

Tamzin is dog Mum to George the 10 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, making staffys one of her favourite breeds, buts it's common knowledge round here she has a soft spot for Trevor (our Trev) a collie x lab.

In her spare time Tamzin loves to travel and explore new places and wants to visit as many zoos as she can all across the world, with a few ticked off already!   

Dog Handler 

Benji has been a dog handler with us at BPC since October 2025 and has become a firm favourite with our dogs. With an FdSc in Canine Behaviour, a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Welfate and having worked with dogs since the age of 16 Benji is a valued, knowledgeable addition to our team.

Benji is a big brother to his family dog Bernard, a 2 year old black Labrador, who regularly joins Benji on walks and hikes all round the countryside.

Benji has a passion for hiking, camping and football, but his favourite thing to do is chill out and relax with Bernard, slippers on and newspaper in hand.

Dog Handler

Sorcha has been a dog handler with us at BPC since May 2025 and has an inspirational passion for dogs, their health & welfare, and nutritional & behavioural needs. 

Her thirst for knowledge led her to work for a well known dog food company, then joining us later on to satisfy that hands on skill set.

Sorcha is dog Mum to two crazy whippet girls, 9 month old Peigi and 18 month old Nola and these 3 girls (along with spare human Rob!) enjoy lots of fun adventures together on walks and documenting their lives on social media.

With other hobbies including the gym and camogie, all while renovating their house Sorcha is one busy bee and a much loved member of our BPC Family

Volunteer

Izzie has been volunteering with us since July 2024 and is here every Monday & Friday afternoon, without fail, come rain or shine 🌧️ ☀️ 

All the dogs LOVE Izzie, the excited noise and commotion when she arrives at Daycare lets everyone know she is here!!! 😂

Izzie’s favourite breeds include cavapoos and Newfoundlands, which Ash is very pleased to hear! 😂

In her spare time Izzie likes to paint and is an amazing artist, she spends a lot of time looking after her family’s 3 frenchies Mabel, Loui, and Ernie and also works in her Mum’s cafe in Altrincham Mabel's Cafe & Tea Rooms 😊

We’d all be lost without Izzie, she’s our little ray of sunshine to start off the week and on a Friday afternoon to finish off the week, thanks Izzie
